Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is an alloy of iron, carbon, and chromium, which can be melted down and reused with next to no waste. Most common stainless steel objects are already created with a large percentage of this recycled metal, and unlike plastic, the integrity of the steel does not decrease with increased usage.
Wood
Hot tubs were traditionally and sometimes are still presently made out of wood. Although wood is biodegradable, there are also ways to recycle it, such as turning it into wood chips for use in recycled timber products or fuel. Recycling scrap wood helps reduce the number of trees that are cut down each year.
