What’s Recyclable?
You’re on board with recycling your old goods, but which goods count as recyclables? We know this can get confusing with different symbols and ways to recycle, so we make it easy. We do all the leg work for you, literally and figuratively. We identify your products and determine the best place and way to recycle them. Common household and recyclables include:
Appliances. Refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines and microwaves. If it’s usable, we’ll donate it to a local thrift store or non-profit organization and someone else can still get some use out of it. If the appliance has run its course, we’ll take it to companies that can take parts and recycle the remainder.
Construction debris. Remodeling or renovating? We can remove and recycle brick, concrete, drywall, flooring, glass, metal and roofing materials. We know the specifications of many of these materials and how they can and cannot be recycled. We work with companies that can properly recycle materials like drywall to eliminate any chemical interactions in the landfills.
Hot tubs. That old spa can be broken down, picked up and out of your way in no time. And no worries about dumping it. As we break it down we’ll separate materials for recycling.
Old vehicles, RVs and trailers. Not to worry, we’ll haul off everything with wheels, too. If you have an organization in mind to donate the vehicle to, we’ll deliver it. Otherwise we’ll donate the vehicle or usable parts to local organizations we work with.
Electronics. New TV or stereo system and no idea what to do with the old one? Or have a bag of old cell phones that you know can’t go in the trash, but you don’t know where they can go? We’re certified e-waster collectors, so we do know where electronics can go to be properly recycled and disposed of. Cell phones, TVs, computers, printers, stereos, blenders, coffee machines… We can take it all.
